The updated ICP-APO Learning Outcomes are designed for product professionals working with a narrower scope and are likely working with teams and/or teams of teams. Here are some of the key changes we made:

• We honed in on the skills needed for product managers that work with a single product or a subset of a product line.  

• We streamlined the Learning Outcomes and anchored them on:

• • What product management is and what skills and behaviors are needed in this discipline
  • The importance of understanding customers and stakeholders
  • Ways product professionals work with teams on the planning, executing, and measuring of value.
