Sunsetting Enterprise Product Ownership (ICP-EPO)
After careful consideration, ICAgile has decided to sunset the Enterprise Product Ownership (ICP-EPO) course. As of January 31, 2023, ICP-EPO courses and credentials can no longer be offered.
Long-term, we are confident that sunsetting ICP-EPO is the right decision. As you might have experienced, the demand for the Enterprise Product Ownership (ICP-EPO) course is limited, while the demand for product management courses continues to grow.
Combining the Product Tracks
In support of how the industry is evolving, ICAgile will be combining the Product Ownership and Product Strategy tracks into a new track called Product Management. This new track will help professionals build skills that are needed at different scopes in the product space (e.g., working from a single product to working with a full product line). This change will simplify and clarify ICAgile’s product-related courses and eliminate overlapping Learning Outcomes. If you're looking to build a new course in line with this change, we recommend considering either Product Management (ICP-PDM) or Lean Portfolio Management (ICP-LPM).
What About Those Who Have Already Earned an ICP-EPO Credential?
People who have earned the ICP-EPO certification will keep this certification. We simply won’t be issuing new ICP-EPO certificates after the course is sunsetted. We will communicate directly with ICP-EPO holders impacted by this change.
