How to prepare for your micro-credential course accreditation

To ensure a productive accreditation session for your micro-credential course, it’s important to understand what to expect and how to prepare. This guide outlines the key meeting expectations and preparation steps to help you make the most of your session.

Meeting Expectations:

  • The primary goal of the meeting is to accredit your micro-credential course so you can begin to offer it.
  • We will review your course materials together and ask questions about the course duration, delivery method, and assessment criteria.

Preparation:

  • Please bring your course materials to the meeting. As a reminder, the course duration must be 2-4 hours.
  • Be prepared to discuss the learning outcomes and how your course covers them.
  • Be ready to explain how learners will be assessed on the skills taught in the micro-credential.
  • There is no need to send any materials in advance. You do not need to complete a matrix.
