About the Transition to ICA

What the ICA Transition Means for Member Organizations

As a valued Member Organization, you are at the heart of the ICA community. Together, we've built a globally recognized ecosystem that has helped more than 300,000+ learners develop agile skills and advance their careers.

As ICAgile evolves into the International Certification Alliance (ICA), our commitment to you remains unchanged. This transition builds on everything we've accomplished together while creating new opportunities to expand your reach, grow your portfolio, and continue delivering exceptional learning experiences.

This article explains what stays the same, what's changing, and what you can expect over the coming months.

What stays the same

The services and programs you rely on today will continue without interruption.

Your membership

Your membership remains unchanged. There is no action required as part of the transition.

Your accredited courses

All existing ICAgile-accredited courses may continue to be delivered as they are today.

Learner certifications

Learners will continue to receive globally recognized certifications. Existing ICAgile certifications remain fully valid and recognized.

Instructor Authorizations

Current instructor authorizations remain valid and unchanged.

Support

Our team is here to support you throughout the transition. Existing support channels, accreditation & authorization services, and operational assistance remain available.

What's ahead

While our foundation remains the same, ICA creates new opportunities for Member Organizations to grow alongside us.

An expanded certification portfolio

ICA will introduce new certifications and credentials that extend beyond agile learning into broader professional skills that support today's workforce.

New offerings will roll out over time, giving Member Organizations additional opportunities to expand their training portfolios.

Modular learning pathways

ICA is introducing a more flexible certification model that allows learners to build certifications through a combination of core and specialized credentials.

This modular approach creates more personalized learning journeys while maintaining the quality and consistency ICA is known for.

Certification Lab

Certification Lab is already available as a new pathway for Member Organizations to bring innovative, market-relevant learning to professionals faster.

Through Certification Lab, Member Organizations can collaborate with ICA to develop custom certifications backed by ICA's globally recognized standards.

Learn more about Certification Lab.

Growth Partner designation

Beginning in September, ICA will introduce the Growth Partner designation.

This invitation-only designation recognizes Member Organizations that consistently deliver high-quality learning experiences and uphold certification standards with demonstrated operational maturity.

Growth Partners enjoy preferential pricing for ICA accreditation and authorization services reflecting our shared commitment to quality learning experiences

Additional information will be shared prior to launch.
