A core credential covers learning objectives focused on the foundational elements and basic competency as the backbone of the certification. Specialized credentials, on the other hand, allow learns the flexibility to explore concepts to deepen expertise in a specific area.

Some specialized credentials cross into multiple certifications

The same specialized credential can count toward more than one certification.
